Hello and a hearty welcome to
all fishers and site visitors.
This summer started out with a flood-watch
and a possibility of fishing off your porch.
Luckily the flood did not occur but the
high water for the duration of the year, brought excellent
fishing opportunities for all.

The lower Vedder Canal had Coho
appearing very early in mid-August, and their run was joined with
many Pinks and some Springs!
The upper Vedder Canal and Vedder River
itself, has had very low water from the Bailey Bridge up to the
Vedder Road Bridge. This presented excellent trolling and casting
opportunities in the deeper pools, as fish were schooling-up
and waiting for rain. The date of Saturday,
September 29th, 2007, was chosen so Pink and
Coho could be targeted at the same time and we were rewarded
with many fish of mixed species.
Everyone who participated,
landed happiness and bagged a prize,
but there was also the Great Goal of a hatchery Coho!
See all that day's excitement below!
