Safety at the Drill Site
We have always tried to be safety conscious on every drill site. We continue to keep our drilling rigs and equipment in safe working order and our drill crews exert every effort to work safely. The Occupation Health and Safety Council Act states that all persons in or near the vicinity of drilling machinery must wear hard hats and safety boots. Any person coming on a drilling site without the necessary safety gear must stay back at a safe distance. Any sample taken will be brought over to them. We would like to thank you for your cooperation in making our drilling sites a safe place.
Hitting Buried Services
Hitting buried services such as water, sewer, electricity or gas could be extremely costly and could place our crew, your crew, and perhaps others in extreme danger. As a drilling contractor we work totally under your responsibility.
We have no prior knowledge of the; the property, the owner, or the site.
Location of underground services should be confirmed before we drill; we rely on your direction as to the exact spot to start each hole and for that reason we cannot take responsibility for costs should buried services be damaged.
Stuck Drilling Rigs/Soft Sites
In spite of the care and experience of our Drill Operators, occasionally, a rig can get stuck at a site when the terrain becomes too difficult to traverse. Our policy requires that the client be responsible for all towing charges, all rig and crew time due to delay, and any damage incurred to the rig or vehicle.
We advise that if the site is questionable to truck access, order the Bombardier and the charge would be minimal compared to a stuck truck rig.
